Marc-André Grifoll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 39th match minute, La Mora CAT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joerie De Cat to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-André Grifoll having to interfere. Marc-André Grifoll made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
