The Markus Fågel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Polly Magoo Juniors defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Fågel. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Fågel should have stopped the shot. The Polly Magoo Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Eric Bertaux hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Markus Fågel however easily saved by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Markus Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Markus Fågel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
