Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Stefan Asklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FTU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. The supporters of Panama booed when FTU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Asklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after FTU's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Abraham Alguacil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michael Apelkvist quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th minute Christian Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Josefsson in the 21st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Klucznik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FTU's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Apelkvist came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 played minutes FTU got a freekick which was hit by Olov Örtlund. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Christian Svanström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, FTU's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Michael Apelkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Svanström charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Svanström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes FTU got a freekick which was hit by Christian Svanström. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörn Giliusson during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Apelkvist was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Miguel Miralles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Miralles really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Lindström in the 47th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Svanström to make the kick off. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Apelkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Apelkvist was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The supporters of FTU booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Christoffer Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Christoffer Lindström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FTU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 65th minute, Christoffer Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Christian Svanström made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 76 minutes into the game, Mikael Josefsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Apelkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kajetan Klucznik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Josefsson in the 92nd minute. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Apelkvist having to interfere.
