Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) JoynickFC's Ove Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of JoynickFC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when D.J. Bobek sent off a good shot on target. Armando Paul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Paul slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Paul in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, JoynickFC's D.J. Bobek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Olofsson in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, D.J. Bobek notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of JoynickFC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by D.J. Bobek in the 33rd minute. Armando Paul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Lindström in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Lindström came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Lindström in the 48th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for D.J. Bobek to strike the kick off in the second half. The JoynickFC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when JoynickFC's Armando Paul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see JoynickFC's Ove Lindström in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from D.J. Bobek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Armando Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Paul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. JoynickFC's Ove Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Armando Paul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JoynickFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. André Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 74th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Bobek in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, D.J. Bobek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. JoynickFC's Andy Linquist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 84th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Armando Paul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. JoynickFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
