After 10 played minutes Implant de Ego ™ got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Junilă. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Firea. Ilie Bojonca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Flavius Gligan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavius Gligan had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Ilie Bojonca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilie Bojonca took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Implant de Ego ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Bojonca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Feroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Robert Firea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Implant de Ego ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Firea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Gligan in the 54th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Gligan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 69th minute, Ilie Bojonca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Implant de Ego ™ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Eugen Latarețu hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After having played for 96 minutes, Robert Firea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
