In the 33rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Adamec in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Janič in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Melon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Janič didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute FC Melon were awarded a corner. Matej Adamec went to the cornerflag to take it. Ján Tuleja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Matej Adamec kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Marek Janič took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. FC Melon made a substitution. Tomáš Semenník replaced Jaromír Mojžiš. In the 68th minute, Marek Janič left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Melon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 72 played minutes Marek Janič could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-4 into the left cross. The FC Melon fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when FC Melon's Marek Janič looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, FC Melon's Richard Kremeň got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Melon's zone, Moises Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ján Tuleja came out of the goal and Moises Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomáš Guzy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Melon booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Holub struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Melon. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. Tomáš Guzy kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
