But to his dismay, Venko Petrov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Venko Petrov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venko Petrov in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Venko Petrov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bansko's supporters rose to their feet, but Venko Petrov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Bansko:s goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Petrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venko Petrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Dimitar Vetzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venko Petrov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venko Petrov in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimitar Vetzov having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venko Petrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Paun Atkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paun Atkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. FC Bansko's Gencho Mangezov got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, FC Bansko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avgustin Lúskov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Bansko booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paun Atkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Paun Atkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bansko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venko Petrov in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Stiliyan Tachkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Bansko fully deserved thier win.
