Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Limont having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Hexo Utd's Vilmantas Kalinauskas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulius Rožėnas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Hexo Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Limont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 29th minute of the match. Max Limont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute. Jamie Carragher made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 42nd minute, Paulius Rožėnas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 81st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After 83 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Rolando Noboa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mar Cheze. In the 86th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Limont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hexo Utd's Max Limont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulius Rožėnas in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mar Cheze.
