The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guido Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gaston Fernández's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julián Camino who took care of the corner kick. Bona Dios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Mcdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bona Dios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Gaston Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Bona Dios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Cassius Byrne made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Bona Dios managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bona Dios was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Monty Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Gaston Fernández made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bona Dios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Fernández stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
