Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodri Gol in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Twan van Nistelrooij took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yao Xing Chao to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Yao Xing Chao hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. YKE's Traian Brăiloiu. But to his dismay, Traian Brăiloiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Twan van Nistelrooij notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 44th play minutes Rodri Gol shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Twan van Nistelrooij stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Twan van Nistelrooij got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodri Gol couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodri Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Rodri Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the F.C. YKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Twan van Nistelrooij took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rodri Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. YKE's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodri Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Twan van Nistelrooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Traian Brăiloiu came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. When Jose Correa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. F.C. YKE made a substitution. Mugur Ceaușescu replaced Traian Brăiloiu. F.C. YKE made a substitution.
