Monty Rogers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits van Gaal in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Netto. In the 23rd minute, USA's Monty Rogers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Vassilis Nentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 31st minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
