Luis Vasquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. After having played for 5 minutes, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 8th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vassilis Nentakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vassilis Nentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Luis Vasquez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vassilis Nentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Luis Vasquez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Diamantino Neves with Luis Vasquez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Vasquez. After 31 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Frits van Gaal. After 38 minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Vassilis Nentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Magheran came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Ştefan Magheran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Frits van Gaal in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. The supporters of Peru booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Magheran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Mafra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 56th minute, Rodrigo Mafra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Pindorama Eagles made a substitution. Juvenal Antunes replaced Inácio Ponta. Rodrigo Mafra kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vassilis Nentakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vassilis Nentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute of the match. Ştefan Magheran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Ştefan Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vassilis Nentakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 83 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Magheran came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Frits van Gaal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ştefan Magheran went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
