Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. Sport Clube Recife's Percy Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. Percy Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play. The throw-in from Marco Tardelli in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. A sloppy throw-in by Marco Tardelli in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 12thth minute of the game Doctor Strange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Penha in the 13th minute of play. Percy Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Sport Clube Recife's Doctor Strange ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Percy Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Sport Clube Recife got a freekick which was hit by Doctor Strange. Percy Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Peru's Eliseo Mina made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sport Clube Recife's Percy Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Lampard. Sport Clube Recife were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dong Yang Bang took the corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doctor Strange stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Doctor Strange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Strange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percy Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Sport Clube Recife getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marco Tardelli hit a great ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Clube Recife's goalkeeper Percy Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Fernandez having to interfere. Sport Clube Recife made a substitution. Delfim Leite replaced Doctor Strange. 72 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Recife's goalkeeper Percy Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Percy Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Percy Fernandez in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Remo Carvalho made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Delfim Leite. Sport Clube Recife's Percy Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Percy Fernandez. That made the score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
