Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fagondo Vasquez kicked off to start the match. BRASIL.Sp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. BRASIL.Sp's Eusébio Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio Barros. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Lusa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Lusa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Lusa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. Almir Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serginho Lusa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Daniel Zorita in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serginho Lusa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Felix Montenegro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 86th playminute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
