Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven Brask got the match started through his kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krum Nikolchov having to make a save. Krum Nikolchov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Trifon Patrikov got a free kick in the 8th minute. Krum Nikolchov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 10th minute of play. Francisco Carballar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krum Nikolchov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Sven Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krum Nikolchov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Krum Nikolchov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdzislaw Obuchowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Brask kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Lokomotiv Plovdiv getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Trifon Patrikov hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Zdzislaw Obuchowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Lokomotiv Plovdiv made a substitution. Facundo Nazario replaced Sven Brask. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krum Nikolchov having to make a save. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Krum Nikolchov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Facundo Nazario's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hélder Lago who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Chile booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Patrikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Krum Nikolchov made a huge save. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute. Francisco Carballar made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov managed to reach the ball for a save. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Krum Nikolchov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Yulian Florov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
