Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孟峰剑 in the 8th minute of play. In the 15th minute 孟峰剑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If 李森翀 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 李森翀, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 41st minute, 余西磊 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 75 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. 杨云枫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If 李森翀 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, 孟峰剑 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ◇Mz.Dream◆足球反腐利在千秋's supporters rose to their feet, but 孟峰剑 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 孟峰剑's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 孟峰剑 got free with Benito Sanz in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 孙树亮 struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ◇Mz.Dream◆足球反腐利在千秋. After 95 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. 余西磊 took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
