Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Loco Durazno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute of the match, Cassius Byrne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anders Lundqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Golden Lions FC's goalie and right to Jenson Smith. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Golden Lions FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Björn Björkqvist got a free kick in the 5th minute. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Golden Lions FC's corner Arne Tönnberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golden Lions FC's Georg Termander. 22 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28thth minute of the game Mats Nyström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 31st minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. USA's Monty Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Lundqvist was a little too slow when Edward Mcdonald got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 46th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Loco Durazno made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Loco Durazno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Tönnberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Golden Lions FC's Marcelo Steven was substituted for İbrahim Efe Topdemir. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cosme Larpe was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Golden Lions FC's corner Cosme Larpe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Bebben Johansson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. In the 83rd minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Cosme Larpe went to the cornerflag to take it. When USA's Khalid Parry in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Golden Lions FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over USA's much stronger midfield.
