Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Sven Brask started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Zdzislaw Obuchowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Krum Nikolchov made a huge save. Krum Nikolchov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 12th minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krum Nikolchov having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lokomotiv Plovdiv defense, Orlando Casaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krum Nikolchov. The Lokomotiv Plovdiv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krum Nikolchov should have stopped the shot. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirolyub Dragoychev in the 30th minute of play. After 38 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hélder Lago who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirolyub Dragoychev to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Krum Nikolchov made a huge save. Krum Nikolchov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krum Nikolchov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mirolyub Dragoychev in the 55th minute. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario was substituted for Sven Brask. The throw-in from Slavyan Zanev in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Pedro Indiano. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Facundo Nazario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Nazario in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lokomotiv Plovdiv getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Yulian Florov hit a great ball. Krum Nikolchov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krum Nikolchov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Zdzislaw Obuchowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Facundo Nazario did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Thiago Pliego 81 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Facundo Nazario in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. After 84 minutes, Facundo Nazario made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krum Nikolchov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Trifon Patrikov got a free kick in the 95th minute.
