In the 9th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. 野马队's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Luis Andino at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of 野马队. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 马昆松 during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 野马队's 马昆松 got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 15th minute of play forced 野马队's goalkeeper 康永杰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, 江镇岩 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of 康永杰. 野马队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 康永杰 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 康永杰 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 野马队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. 马昆松 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced 野马队's goalkeeper 康永杰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-3 became the score in the 33rd minute when 卓松笑 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 康永杰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 谢天延 made a kick off. A collision led to 野马队 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. 武川思 hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 56th minute of play forced 野马队's goalkeeper 康永杰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 康永杰 made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but 康永杰 made a huge save. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but 康永杰 made a huge save. 康永杰 didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. In the 75th minute 武川思 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, 武川思 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 谢天延 in the 79th minute of play. 马昆松 kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 野马队's 康永杰 didn't even have to move. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 谢天延 in the 83rd minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 卓松笑's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When 野马队's 卓松笑 in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 武川思 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢天延 in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than 野马队 and deserved their victory. The 野马队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
