The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Eulalio Majua in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spartak de Txurdi's Eulalio Majua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play. Jan Melker struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak de Txurdi.

The wind increased when Charro Revuelta made the kick off in the second half. Spartak de Txurdi's Eulalio Majua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Melker in the 54th minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Melker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Spartak de Txurdi's Eulalio Majua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 70th minute of play. Eulalio Majua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eulalio Majua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spartak de Txurdi made a substitution. Regis Jaen replaced Nickolas Horemans. In the 85th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Majua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leocadio Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Spartak de Txurdi's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Leocadio Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pang Chuan in the 93rd minute. Pang Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
