Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aljoša Čurina in the 11th minute of the match. Ove Klemensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Aljoša Čurina came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Klemensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Ove Klemensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jure Broz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aljoša Čurina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Aljoša Čurina came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belimir Katunarić hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Joar Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Sebastian Villa sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aljoša Čurina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joar Blomqvist could save by the left post. 74 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joar Blomqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Belimir Katunarić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Blomqvist having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK VRBAS's Joar Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aljoša Čurina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jure Broz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FK VRBAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jure Broz couldn't finish the play. The Honduras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Honduras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
