When Moises Fernandino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Filip Rábik was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Rábik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Burning Angels's attentive Andrej Lehotský managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Burning Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Filip Rábik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Burning Angels players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-2.

55 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burning Angels the free kick. Burning Angels's Filip Rábik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Burning Angels from getting a goal against them. The Burning Angels supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Salvador's performance. The match ended with a win for El Salvador.
