Burning Angels's Laco Kuzma managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 3 minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filip Rábik. Filip Rábik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Rábik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Pardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filip Rábik. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Rábik. Burning Angels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Covarrubias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Matúš Čaniga fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burning Angels's protests and gave Matúš Čaniga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Burning Angels's Matúš Čaniga got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Burning Angels got a freekick which was hit by Laco Kuzma. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Rábik having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Pardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filip Rábik. That made the score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Filip Rábik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Rábik was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Burning Angels's goalkeeper Filip Rábik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Filip Rábik in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burning Angels's Filip Rábik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Burning Angels from getting a goal against them. Filip Rábik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 42nd minute. Primitivo Escribano struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Filip Rábik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. 48 minutes in the game Jaime Pardo got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. When Ladislav Kubina fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burning Angels's protests and gave Ladislav Kubina a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Burning Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislav Kubina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Burning Angels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 59th minute of play forced Burning Angels's goalkeeper Filip Rábik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Rábik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 60th minute of the match. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burning Angels's goalie prevented a goal. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Rábik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Rábik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th match minute, Burning Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matúš Hanuščak to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filip Rábik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Raul Venegas in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Burning Angels's Laco Kuzma. In the 89th minute, Hector Covarrubias made a precise shot to the right of Filip Rábik. Burning Angels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Burning Angels's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Rábik came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burning Angels's Filip Rábik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
