Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kauã Melo made the kick off which started today's match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Melo in the 2nd minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Ferreira in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wágner Baiano was slow to take the kick. During this time GynBsb's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on GynBsb's corner Wágner Baiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Michel Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michel Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Válter Rodrigues. GynBsb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, GynBsb's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Válter Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válter Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Válter Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. GynBsb's Válter Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Montes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Montes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 22 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Válter Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind GynBsb's goalkeeper Válter Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of GynBsb's Válter Rodrigues. Válter Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th match minute, GynBsb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Melo to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Válter Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Michel Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GynBsb's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Rodrigues came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Válter Rodrigues. GynBsb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Sancho to make the kick off. Kauã Melo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauã Melo helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes GynBsb got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Melo. In the 53rd minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Válter Rodrigues, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Cerezo in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of GynBsb booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Melo in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Cerezo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GynBsb's Jeremias Cerezo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind GynBsb's goalkeeper Válter Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Valdomiro Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Válter Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Válter Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Válter Rodrigues was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-6. Ramiro Silveira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the GynBsb defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Válter Rodrigues. The GynBsb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Válter Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Válter Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válter Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GynBsb.
