Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Agustín Tastzian started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patric Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes Barrenta SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Urban Stenman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Patric Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After some careless play in the Barrenta SC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patric Isaksson. The Barrenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patric Isaksson should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrenta SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson did a great save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Tastzian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Patric Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Patric Isaksson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Patric Isaksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Wellington de Godoi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Fellipe Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington de Godoi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Patric Isaksson in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patric Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Fellipe Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Barrenta SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
