After having played for 11 minutes, Norbert Tóth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lábatlanok SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Tóth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zsolt Salgó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lábatlanok SC the free kick. The supporters of Lábatlanok SC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Levente Müller fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lábatlanok SC's protests and gave Levente Müller a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Tóth came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lábatlanok SC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Valentin Bernáth hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Zsolt Salgó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Tóth in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Salgó came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Salgó in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Zsolt Salgó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lábatlanok SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 42 played minutes Lábatlanok SC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Bernáth. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zsolt Salgó to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zsolt Salgó in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. After 78 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Lábatlanok SC's Adorján Szűrös tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lábatlanok SC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lajos Szigligeti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lábatlanok SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lajos Szigligeti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zsolt Salgó in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zsolt Salgós short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lábatlanok SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
