In the 16th minute, Ionică Lucescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. King Junior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Kobra TEAM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving King Junior. That made the score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. King Junior made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Ionică Lucescu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kobra TEAM. If Amauri Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Paiva in the 44th minute of play. When Kobra TEAM's Ionică Lucescu in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by King Kobra in the 51 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luz Tejedor in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg King Junior saved Kobra TEAM from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Lopes came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Cristocea during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliseo Mina scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of King Junior, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
