Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vassilis Mavrofridis kicked off to start the match. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Pirtsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitris Pirtsos. Dimitris Pirtsos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Pirtsos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Dimitris Pirtsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Pirtsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Vassilis Mavrofridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipochσrion FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Mavrofridis to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dimitris Pirtsos made a huge save. Giorgos Aggelopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgos Aggelopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Lipochσrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Aggelopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Pirtsos having to interfere. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joel Gaona did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Dimitris Pirtsos 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion FC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Pirtsos. The Lipochσrion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Pirtsos should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dimitris Pirtsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Pirtsos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Lipochσrion FC's Dimitris Pirtsos. Dimitris Pirtsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
