Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Kroton F.C.'s Concetto Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 8 minutes, Concetto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kroton F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Chitarroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Cirelli was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Cirelli saved Kroton F.C. from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kroton F.C. were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Ieberink took the corner. The corner ended in Edgar Ieberink almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Johannes Støle struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kroton F.C.. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Concetto Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Veli Vefa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Cristiano Chitarroni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Concetto Donato made the kick off in the second half. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kroton F.C.'s Arturo Scurti was substituted for Zlatin Serdarov. In the 60th minute, Concetto Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Chitarroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Cristiano Chitarroni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When Jose Correa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Chitarroni in the 76th minute of the match. Johannes Støle scored 3-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabrizio Vieri hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Saul Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Concetto Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kroton F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
