In the 4th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Selami Denizer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Milagros Cabal charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milagros Cabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Şadi Turhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Bahattin Kurhan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC MANLE. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raşit Hendekli in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Raşit Hendekli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC MANLE's Şadi Turhan. Şadi Turhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the game, Halim Talik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MANLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. When Bahattin Kurhan fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MANLE's protests and gave Bahattin Kurhan a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şadi Turhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Hamit Aynacıoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Şadi Turhan threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moises Tafalla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Şadi Turhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şadi Turhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, FC MANLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarp Cangun to maneuver through the defense. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Şadi Turhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute. After 74 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şadi Turhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Honduras booed when FC MANLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raşit Hendekli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ant Koyak made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hamit Aynacıoğlu however managed to control. Şadi Turhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Hendekli in the 85th minute of play. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Şadi Turhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şadi Turhan having to interfere. When Hamit Aynacıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC MANLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamit Aynacıoğlu couldn't finish the play.
