Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Skott notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell-Arne Skott in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell-Arne Skott in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Panama booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Ahlrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Edvin Bruhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Kjell-Arne Skott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Patrik Ahlrot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrik Ahlrot who took care of the corner kick. Ronnys Lärjungar's Patrik Ahlrot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Cotilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Ronnys Lärjungar's Patrik Ahlrot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ronnys Lärjungar reached it. After having played for 35 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Ahlrot in the 37th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Kjell-Arne Skott reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 0-4. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Cambeiro during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when George Esbjörnsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Panama booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Esbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 74th minute of play. Orvar Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Esbjörnsson got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Patrik Ahlrot could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. Patrik Ahlrots short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Marcos Cotilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ronnys Lärjungar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ronnys Lärjungar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
