USA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Bernardo Novaes scored to the left of an out of position Marco Day, making the score, 1-1. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomáš Houdek. Tomáš Houdek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Novaes got free with Marco Day in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes in the game Raphael Moore did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cassius Byrne. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Houdek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 minutes Lex Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Genaro Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Houdek having to interfere. Tomáš Houdek was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Cassius Byrne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cassius Byrne really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miloslav Krupička in the 64th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Tomáš Houdek in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Houdek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miloslav Krupička in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Miloslav Krupička left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lex Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of USA booed when Lex Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Štengl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Campbell struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Tomáš Houdek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Leo Štengl kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
