Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Pauliström's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Biörk hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pauliström booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Pauliström's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Pauliström's Malcolm Wall managed to reach the ball for a save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Daniel Zorita rounded Pauliström's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. 56 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Malcolm Wall. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Malcolm Wall in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Pauliström players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
