Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Luz Tejedor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zhuo Xuan Yu. Juliszew SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhuo Xuan Yu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zhuo Xuan Yu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Szkarpiak in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Lucjan Szkarpiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Szkarpiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Juliszew SSA's Wilhelm Salamonsen was substituted for Cecilio Fanuco. Juliszew SSA made a substitution. Oto Mur replaced Lucjan Szkarpiak. 71 minutes into the match, Juliszew SSA's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Oto Mur took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 95th minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Juliszew SSA were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
