In the 22nd minute Chu Zhen Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Matthis Paelemans came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahmud Alp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahmud Alp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mahmud Alp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmud Alp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Abubakar Kamarád came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abubakar Kamarád in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Zhen Xun in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthis Paelemans in the 61st minute of play. In the 97th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6.
