Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Sálvio Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Matai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai. Vladimiro Matai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Vladimiro Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimiro Matai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sálvio Ribeiro in the 37th minute of play. ADCR Loreto United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesário Abrantes in the 38th minute. Juan Sebastián Puig tried in the 38th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Julio Vera a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. ADCR Loreto United FC's Sálvio Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ADCR Loreto United FC defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Matai. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Matai should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sálvio Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesário Abrantes in the 51st minute of play. A hard shot 53 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Vladimiro Matai managed to make a qualified save. ADCR Loreto United FC's players were relieved. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Curado in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimiro Matai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Matai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimiro Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Cesário Abrantes fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADCR Loreto United FC's protests and gave Cesário Abrantes a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesário Abrantes. 84 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimiro Matai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 89 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesário Abrantes who took care of the corner kick. In the 92nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Matai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.
