After 39 played minutes FC Shed End got a freekick which was hit by Talip Taşan. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Stig-Ove Hedkvist to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, FC Shed End's Stig-Ove Hedkvist got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rikard Wahlnäs made a great header on FC Shed End's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
