In the 21st minute of the match, Dirch Pilbak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced Jungle Circus's goalkeeper Doğukan Artan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Jungle Circus's Doğukan Artan managed to reach the ball for a save. Doğukan Artan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 41st minute of the match.
