Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffel Portmans was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Christoffel Portmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luis Andino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 11th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. Arnout Worteleers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Michael Wirinckx put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 77th minute, Arnout Worteleers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. SK Dreigoten made a substitution. Quentin De Becker replaced Nickolas Wittemans. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christoffel Portmans could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Rudy Vandendriessche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Dreigoten made a substitution. Jeffrey Degryse replaced Arnout Worteleers. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Rudy Vandendriessche got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffel Portmans saved SK Dreigoten from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SK Dreigoten support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
