Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 3rd minute, Thomas Sundberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Jim Kråk took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Henk Van Linthout cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Sundberg in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Henk Van Linthout notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Sundberg in the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Van Linthout in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Fagrell having to interfere. Adam Christoffersson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adam Christoffersson 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Van Linthout in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BK Ugglan's Henk Van Linthout got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Thomas Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dong Ting Fan was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Ugglan's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Van Linthout in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thomas Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a BK Ugglan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Ugglan made a substitution. Wiktor Anselius replaced Henk Van Linthout. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Sundberg in the 84th minute of the match. Patrik Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BK Ugglan's Bror Bruhn was substituted for Dong Ting Fan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Anselius in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Ugglan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
