In the 24th minute, Tobiasz Gniech made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 31st minute, Tobiasz Gniech reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 35th minute, Tobiasz Gniech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Maciej Trynda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Fabian Mierzwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moneteria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Mierzwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Trynda in the 57th minute of the match. Zheng Rong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moneteria made a substitution. Mai Yuan Bang replaced Konstanty Komornicki. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Kacper Tobias in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
