The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcel Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çakır Baycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Semir Jakubović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Baycan in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Pedro Indiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semir Jakubović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Çakır Baycan rounded Chile's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Bojanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semir Jakubović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Walker Bird hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Çakır Baycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Predators's corner Cyryl Bojanowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Predators's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Predators's goalkeeper Semir Jakubović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Predators's Semir Jakubović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of play. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çakır Baycan in the 74th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Francisco Carballar suffered a sore thigh after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Freitas during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chile's Domingo Mancebo was substituted for Francisco Carballar. In the 81st minute, Marcel Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Semir Jakubović to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Semir Jakubović came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 92nd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
