When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Teodoro Freire sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 29 minutes of play, AM United's Teodoro Freire made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Freire received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodoro Freire slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Nikos Christou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AM United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick.

David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Olivier Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Freire went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score.
