When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tue Parslet took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. In the 9th match minute, Kerteminde Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haakon Haarbøl to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roman Mehrtens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roman Mehrtens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute, Ture Vejlbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Mehrtens was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Kerteminde Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Roman Mehrtens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Kerteminde Boldklub got a freekick which was hit by Haakon Haarbøl. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerteminde Boldklub's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Tue Parslet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Barrios's late challenge caught a Kerteminde Boldklub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Eberhardt Osted from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Marcos Cotilla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Eberhardt Osted struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerteminde Boldklub. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Bertil Kapala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Roman Mehrtens made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Roman Mehrtens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Mehrtens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Flor hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Miralles struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Roman Mehrtens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Roman Mehrtens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 74th minute of the match. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Mehrtens made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Kapala came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roman Mehrtens having to interfere. Panama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kerteminde Boldklub had won, even though Panama had held more of the ball.
