Ionel Zamfirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yusuf Mbappè got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ionel Zamfirescu quite easily take care of the ball. Teodor Moți might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Moți ran back to his position shaking his head. Yusuf Mbappès short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Şeref Ayhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-2. The throw-in from Poul Stengart in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Teodor Moți took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Yusuf Mbappè could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Teodor Moți fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Yusuf Mbappè kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Turgay Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulkadir İslam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR had played much better football throughout.
