Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. David Aberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of the match. Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Aberle having to interfere. A collision led to Uetendorf Wanderers getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Glenn Huez hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rutsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rutsch in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zachary Pionek went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Huez in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Sak de Cock. In the 80th minute Zachary Pionek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Uetendorf Wanderers's Aytunç Neba was substituted for Glenn Huez. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 89th minute of play forced Uetendorf Wanderers's goalkeeper David Aberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Sak de Cock. After 95 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Aberle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
