Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurxo Lagala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, AC Østerlars's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Didrik Faldal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Didrik Faldal in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after AC Østerlars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Didrik Faldal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Beard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetaslav Navojka struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Østerlars. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didrik Faldal having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joel Gaona's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Didrik Faldal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joel Gaona did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Didrik Faldal 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earl Kjær in the 39th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Liam Beard made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetaslav Navojka in the 45th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didrik Faldal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xurxo Lagala to strike the kick off in the second half. Didrik Faldal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didrik Faldal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didrik Faldal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. AC Østerlars made a substitution. Thomas Lindrup replaced Xurxo Lagala. When Liam Beard fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Østerlars's protests and gave Liam Beard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Liam Beard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Didrik Faldal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 82nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. AC Østerlars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Rouco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Didrik Faldal came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. AC Østerlars's Didrik Faldal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when AC Østerlars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Beard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, AC Østerlars's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Didrik Faldal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AC Østerlars for a fine match.
