The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Cînu having to interfere. Ştefan Cînu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kordal Duff, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ştefan Cînu made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Leron Sale sent off a good shot on target. Romon Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ştefan Cînu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Cînu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Finlay Stair did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ştefan Cînu 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ilie Balaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpathians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. A collision led to Carpathians getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ilie Balaci hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Jamaica's Kordal Duff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ştefan Cînu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Carpathians's Ştefan Cînu got control of the ball when Finlay Stair tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes in the game Jarell Hill did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Finlay Stair. 26 minutes into the game, Leron Sale lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Ştefan Cînu. Kordal Duff made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Karlus Waugh immediately put the ball in play. Ştefan Cînu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlus Waugh in the 32nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Ştefan Cînu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ştefan Cînu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarell Hill went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Javan Develder made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kordal Duff immediately put the ball in play. Carpathians's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kordal Duff 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. Wayan Freeman made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Carpathians's Ilie Balaci. After 56 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Leron Sale. Ştefan Cînu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Karlus Waugh. But to his dismay, Karlus Waugh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Iosif Vulcan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 5-1. 73 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Ştefan Cînu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Cînu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kordal Duff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wayan Freeman made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Carpathians's Ilie Balaci. 85 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Ştefan Cînu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Cînu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlus Waugh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Panaitescu in the 89th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wayan Freeman made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Leron Sale immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Mirciulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kordal Duff charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kordal Duff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Kordal Duff. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarell Hill in the 99th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Ştefan Cînu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jamaica had won after a very even match.
