Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Xande Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Xandinho Kane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the game, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The throw-in from Camilo Gaos in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Durvalino Travassos. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Marquinhos Jacinto got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xandinho Kane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Jacinto. In the 40thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xande Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamine Xande was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Nicolas De la Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Robinho de Souza was substituted for Xande Musiala. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xande Buffon saved New Joinville - FSCMZ from getting behind. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Válbson Schmidt replaced Nicolas De la Cruz. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Marquinhos Jacinto made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chiquinho de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
