In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. David Kunovský struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radek Jílek, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Kunovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radislav Hošťálek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as David Kunovský kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Kunovský in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Froghino's Jiří Skrbek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, David Kunovský left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Froghino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jiří Skrbek's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Jiří Skrbek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Kunovský in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Jiří Skrbek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 70th minute Jiří Skrbek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Lot Hough threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Radislav Hošťálek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If David Kunovský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by František Vavřina in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Froghino were the better team. Froghino's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
